Savor Pittsburgh
A collection of Pittsburgh’s finest chefs will share their favorite recipes in an all-out competition for coveted “Dish of the Year” honors at the annual Savor Pittsburgh: A Celebration of Cuisine, presented by McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurant and SouthSide Works to benefit the National Pancreas Foundation.
Event Highlights Include:
- A scrumptious tasting menu of the best dishes from the region’s finest restaurants;
- Unlimited cocktails, wine, beer and soft drinks;
- Music and dancing to the sounds of No Bad Ju Ju – a dynamite 8-piece powerhouse band featuring three lead vocalists/ instrumentalists backed by a driving rhythm and horn section with an eclectic mix of music encompassing R&B, Soul, & Funk;
- An exciting competition among the participating chef’s for top honors of “Dish of the Year” awarded by a panel of celebrity judges;
- A fabulous silent auction to benefit the National Pancreas Foundation and help children and adults with lung disease.
- Live auction featuring a McCormick & Schmick’s Chef Dinner for 10 prepared by both Chef Ricky Kirsop (SouthSide Works) and Chef Christian Mayrhefer (Piatt Place) valued at $1,000. Dinner does not include alcohol or gratuity.

Savor Pittsburgh takes over the heart of Pittsburgh’s trendiest shopping and dining district, SouthSide Works. A sprawling outdoor "urbanesque" landscape is outfitted with elegant white canopies that bring the best of the indoors to the outdoors for one special night.
Cuisine and cocktails are the spotlight of this fun event, but the real winner is the National Pancreas Foundation.
